Hi, it’s Kristen! This is my first blog post about “Hat Man”…
My Story:
I saw Hat Man when I was about 12. I woke up in the middle of the night to see a tall solid black figure, wearing a hat and coat, staring at me at then corner of the end of my bed (on my side). I was confused and said “Dad, is that you?”. As soon as I said the last word he disapeared.
For a few years after my experience, I believed (wanted to believe) what everyone else had told me - “You were just dreaming”. But deep down, I know what I had seen was real. I began to research shadow people and happened to come across a forum talking about a shadow person that people have named ‘hat man’ because he is always seen wearing a hat. The description, and even the pictures people drew of him, were the exact I had seen that night.
There are a few questions I want answered…
Who is Hat Man?
Why do some people see him, and others don’t? Is there a connection between the ones who do?
While doing research on the internet, i came across that some believe him to be “Odin the Allfather”. He is believed to gather souls of people who have died to lead them back to the afterlife.
